To mark the publication of Ice Cream, a global survey of the most significant emerging artists working today, Phaidon Press have joined forces with Ben & Jerry’s to help cool down the art world over the summer.
Thousands of chunky, delicious Ben & Jerry’s ice creams in strawberry and vanilla flavors will be distributed at four key art events in June in beautifully designed cups matching the iridescent cover of Ice Cream.
During the first two weeks of June, a customised ice cream van will be touring the 52nd International Art Exhibition of the Biennale di Venezia, Art 38 Basel, Documenta 12, and Skulptur Projekte Münster 07. A specially chosen team of 50 art students will position themselves at these major art events to celebrate what Phaidon is billing as ‘the most exciting contemporary art book to be released this year’.
Ice Cream presents 100 of the most exciting artists working today, chosen by a team of 10 internationally renowned curators.
