Pixo Hammer Wins October's Saatchi Online Studio Competition
The winner of the October Saatchi Online Studio competition is Pixo Hammer from Toronto in Canada. Rebecca Geldard, Saatchi Online London correspondent, comments: ‘I like the deft linear quality of Pixo Hammer’s mutant Jellybaby society, which brings to mind the hiphop graphics of Keith Haring and the dystopic cartoon narratives of Mrzyk & Moriceau.’ The Saatchi Gallery will donate £500 in the artist’s name to a children’s hospital of his choice.
